Faralya, known as “the village on the cliffs in the Butterfly Valley”, is situated roughly 15 km south of its neighbouring town Ölüdeniz. Faralya, along with several other nearby Hamlets, is officially part of the village Uzunyurt, which, directly translated, means “long country”. And really, Faralya and Uzunyurt are interchangeable, both used to encompass that entire region near the Butterfly valley. But this picturesque village is far more than what simply meets the eye from across the Blue Lagoon and so here are a few of the things to explore while there.
