Dalyan Cove; This cove is ideal for beginners with its maximum depth of 10 metres. It is also suitable for night diving. Biological diversity: nudibranch (sea slugs), sea sponges, colourful schools of fish, octopus and European barracuda.
Kızılada Lighthouse; This area is ideal for intermediate and advanced level scuba divers. The sea bottom descends to a depth of 15 metres where the submarine topography gives the impression of an amphitheatre.
Afkule; This spot is ideal for advanced scuba divers with its maximum depth of 50 metres and is, without doubt, one of the top diving sites in Fethiye. The wall reflects the incredible colours of the underwater world. As there is also a cave, it is highly recommended that you take a diving light. While descending in a spiral form through the 27 metre cave, you will get to see soft corals, sea anemones, lettuce corals, sea cucumbers and different forms of lace corals. On rising to the surface, you can easily reach the next diving site, “Turkish Hamam”, by following the wall. The max depth of this site is 10 metres, which also makes this a perfect spot for snorkelling.
The entrance to the cave is at 7-10 metres. It is possible to ascend to the surface once you are at the cave, which gives the impression of a private pool. This is a perfect spot for underwater photography.
Three Tunnels; This site is ideal for advanced divers with its max depth of 30 metres. You can reach the entrance of the tunnel at 19 metres. Due to the corals lining up along the walls of the tunnel, the tunnel is limited to two divers. The second tunnel is wider and bigger than the first; while the third one ends at 30 metres and the narrow canyon only has room for one diver.
The Barracuda Reef; This site is also ideal for advanced divers with its max depth of 25 metres. The reef is found at 12 metres and is very close to Dalyan Cove. The elevation in this site enables you to see many different types of fish and underwater creatures. The reef itself is an underwater hill and descends down to 60 metres depth, making it a popular diving spot. Due to the current, it is often possible to see barracudas.
The Cold Cove; This site is also ideal for advanced divers with its max depth of 20 metres. The site extends to the land, where you can see the freshwater spring mixing with the sea. Due to the sudden temperature change, it is sometimes possible to see ice crystals near the cold spring. Diving lights are recommended for this site.
The Amphora; Suitable for intermediate and advanced divers, the site has a maximum depth of 14-27 metres. This is the oldest amphora spot in the Mediterranean and the amphoras that can still be seen today date back to 300 BC. The entrance begins at 4 metres in depth and descends to 60 metres with a slope. Biological diversity: Mediterranean morays, scabbard fish, octopus, sea cucumber and sea sponges, in addition to two large rock forms.
Pyramid; This site is ideal for advanced divers with its max depth of 30 metres. The gentle slope descends to the bottom and around a hole. The incredible reflections of colours around this hole are worth seeing. A diving light is recommended to better see these reflections. Due to its unspoiled nature, it is possible to see large groups of swimmers in this spot.
Turgut’un Place; Another suitable spot for advanced divers, the site has a max depth of 30 metres. It passes through a mountain and the entrance to the tunnel is at 30 metres. After 60-metre-swimming, the tunnel takes you to the exit at 25 metres. The tunnel is filled with prawn corridors. As you ascend 8 metres after the tunnel, you will see the ruins of an aircraft engine.
Aqua Point; This site is ideal for advanced divers with its max depth of 25 metres. A large ancient anchor, round shots and many amphoras lie at the bottom of 25 metres. The ancient round shots reflect the feeling of war.
Kızıl Island Canyon; This site is suitable for all levels of divers. The maximum depth is 12 metres and the natural canyon offers a very pleasant image. There is also a cave in which two divers can fit. It is possible to ascend to the surface from the cave.
Sarıyarlar; Another spot ideal for all levels of divers with its max depth of 10 metres.Its sandy and rocky bottom enable a visibility distance of 30 metres. The canyon-looking solid rocks are a playground for divers. The cove has 3 regular groupers and schools of leer fish, which make perfect underwater photos. Octopus and ink fish are very common here. The spot is also ideal for a night dive.
İblisBurnu; This site is ideal for intermediate and advanced level of divers. The max depth is 22 metres and many amphoras can be seen at the bottom. Due to its unspoiled marine life, the site offers much of the diversity that the Mediterranean has to offer. Morning dives can be more pleasant due to the large waves throughout the day.
Balaban Island; This site is ideal for intermediate and advanced divers with its maximum depth of 30 metres. The boat is usually anchored at the deepest point of the sea so that divers can draw a circle around the island and get back to the boat. Due to the long swimming distance, divers must be careful with the air consumption. Generally, the visibility distance, underwater diversity and ancient amphoras make this place amazing for a diving experience.
KaridesKovuğu (Prawn Cove); This site is more suitable for advanced divers with its max depth of 27 metres. There is a crack at 27 metres which is filled with many prawns, forming a small cave. Due to its width, only one diver can fit in, although it is not recommended for the safety of prawns.
Tunnels; This site is ideal for intermediate and advanced divers with its max depth of 10-20 metres. There is initially a descending slope, which is later followed by the tunnels. There is also a cave at 17 metres. The tunnel begins at 12 metres and ends at 3 metres. You can see the light coming from exit points through the tunnel, as well as through the forming of bubbles.
The longest tunnel has a length of 4 metres and it doesn’t require guidance thanks to the plenty of natural light.
Aquarium Cove; This diving spot is suitable for all levels with its max depth of 10 metres. This site is very much like a natural lagoon which is home to many orange sponges, sand eels, groupers and octopuses. The combination of a sandy and rocky sea bottom enables very good vision, which is also ideal for a night dive.
Şahin Burnu( the Buzzard’s Cape); This site is ideal for intermediate and advanced divers with a maximum depth of 15-22 metres. The average diving depth of this spot is 9-12 metres with a very pleasant underwater image. Sponges, 3000-year amphoras, sea spiders, starfish, octopuses and many more types of sea life can be seen here.
